4.0− The guest house does not serve meals The self cooing option in their kitchen was not good. The stay was overpriced. Bad value for money.

7.0Nice location (ignore google maps which makes up a road that doesn’t exist. Yes you are on the right unpaved road. Take the second bridge over the river and after 7km take the bridge back over the river and you are there). Beautiful house. Clean. Comfortable beds.
− Unfortunately we didn’t have the experience like I read in other comments. I called the host to say we arrived and he replied in perfect English that he would send someone. Then a really old man that didn’t know any English and really didn’t know how to receive guests came up to us. He sat down in the house and just sat there talking Georgian hoping we would understand. He just didn’t move. Then we got Google translate and he supposedly said: “so what do you expect from me now?” They say there is breakfast available, but they didn’t offer us anything. Also we never heard about a neighbour making nice meals. Nobody said anything to us. It was just a weird way of receiving guests. Bathrooms are weirdly small for such a big house. You take a shower while almost standing in the toilet bowl.

Disappointing experience and a broken nights sleep - not a place I would recommend.
5.0Quite an amazing location in a closed valley. House was generally fine, with kitchen etc. All timber inside which was nice. Host did his best to try and understand why I was there as he spoke no English. Pleasant fellow however. Bed was comfy and room was secure.
− Operators were not on site. They seemed to have forgotten to tell the owners of the property I was arriving. Breakfast consisted of two stale buns, couldn't eat them at all. Toilet bowl leaked onto the floor each time it was flushed. Dogs barking outside unit through the night - very disturbed sleep. Quite disappointing overall - maybe if booked directly and travellers spoke local language, it may be easier. Probably a better facility for a small group for several days, rather than an overnight stop for one. Road in was rough and unit hard to find even with GPS. If run properly, the property could be a winner for the operators. No fan or air con available, so was hot and stuffy at night. Not recommended as a stopover.

A great recommendation for staying
10.0This house is fully wooden and was built by Mikha and his Dad, a masterpiece. It is very spacious, comfortable and in a quiet environment near the river. Also we enjoyed the wide courtyard to sit outside. The hospitality was extraordinary, and I like to thank them for this great stay.
− Getting there, double check the maps... google directions may be misleading you only on the right side of the river, but you can keep left side and just cross by the bridge nearby.
