Had potential but is over priced, dirty and tired. The host was so very rude at the end when receiving feedback

The property had real potential in terms of space.

− The place was really quite dirty and the furniture is dated and quite uncomfortable. The host also asks for a £200 deposit on the day you arrive which is not noted in the summary when you book. I tried to share feedback with the host privately about how disappointed we were and he was incredibly rude

A pleasant home stay on the edge of the city, in a quiet residential development.

After numerous days on the road, staying in generic chain h/motels, it was a treat to spend 2 nights in an actual house. Big, comfy beds. A decent shower. A cosy lounge/diner. Quiet. There were bits and pieces around which were presumably a mix of left items and guest provisioning to make use of. (I treated myself to a Magnum from the freezer!) I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to stop in the area, especially if they want a self catering option.

Excellent communication. Spacious rooms. Just be aware a deposit is needed after booking. This was returned promptly. Parking is great, one way road so difficult to find at first.
