Nice cottage well looked after and very comfortable

The cottage refurbishment was excellent with all “mod cons” that were necessary …even an Alexa. Heating, kitchen, bathroom facilities were exceptional.

− The lack of parking. Parking is in a council run car park a short walk away. Drop off to the cottage was not a problem. The host provided a parking permit foc. Unfortunately, parking in Combe Martin is difficult and several times we were unable to use the car park as it was full. The next available car park is a 20 minute walk.

Beautiful. Cosy, clean and brilliant. Does have internet. Has everything you need and there is not a 100 pound bond, I'm not sure why it says that on booking.com. lovely neighbour, great location. Feels very safe. First photo is the view out bedroom window at Violet cottage and the other at the beach. More than worth it. THANK YOU. X Sarah

Beautiful home-from-home cosy cottage in a great location.

Violet cottage is a beautiful, cosy cottage in a good location in Combe Martin, about 15 mins walk from the beach, and just a few minutes from local shops and several pubs. The cottage is fully furnished with all mod cons, there is a microwave, washing machine etc in the kitchen and a nice power show in the bathroom. It is down a quiet cobbled alley so very quiet despite handy location. The hosts are extremely responsive, friendly and helpful, replying to messages swiftly. We had a very comfortable and happy stay and if we visit Combe Martin again will be booking Violet Cottage without a doubt.

− Nothing. Violet Cottage was just as described. There is no outdoor space but we knew that before we booked.

The property was very clean with a homely feel and in a quiet area. It was ideally placed to travel around the area.

− The beds were the only thing that let the property down. We found both beds very uncomfortable which meant we didn’t sleep very well
