Nothing except maybe the laughs that we will have five years from now about the potatoes growing in the cabinets.

− We had a problem from the second we arrived. We did not receive instructions as to where we were supposed to go once we arrived. We were only given a code in which was not working!! We first went to basement apartment (assuming that was where the studio apartment was( but the code that was given didn’t work. Since I had originally made two bookings and canceled one within 24 hours, I thought that maybe the wrong one was canceled so we figured let’s try upstairs. The upstairs had sheets and towels hanging from the windows so that should have told us everything we needed to know! I had not been reimbursed yet and it’s been over the ten day threshold. So we went to the front door to try the code, that also did not work. We were very aggravated at this point! We had been traveling, we were cold and wet because it was raining. We called the number and were spoken to like dumb trash. She said (with an attitude, you rented the basement studio, you’re at the wrong spot! I explained (laughing at ourselves & explaining the situation) that I had rented both so I wasn’t sure which they refunded and the code wasn’t working on either. She said maybe you haven’t gotten the updated code which I have not, so she gave it to me and said that she would text it, but she never texted it. When we got inside, we were kind of taken back because we had to walk through someone’s garage. A messy garage, that we had walk around things to get to our studio. Later found out that the garage was the game room/arcade that they were advertising! Upon entering the studio, we figured let’s make up the day because we were going to visit friends and by the time we got back, we wanted to just shower and go to sleep. Well, to our surprise, the day bed was broken.

− A unfinished garage with an attached bedroom cramped with stove, fridge, buffet table, a futon, king bed and a daybed oh and a bathroom. Futon very uncomfortable. Pictures misleading you will not have access to house. Not a place to have a teenager sweet 16 sleep over as you share a space with a stranger

Gorgeous house and clean. Very helpful and friendly host. The tank for the propane grill was empty and she was super helpful over the phone to fix the situation. Great location and safe neighborhood.

− I was under the impression the hot tub was included in the rental. The host contacted me and asked if I wanted to rent the hot tub for an additional $100 fee. She noticed my confusion and then stated that it was noted that there was an extra fee under the amenities tab. Sure enough there was a notation stating there was an extra cost, though not how much it would be. She explained why there's a fee, due to her needing to drain it, clean it, change filter to make sure it's clean for the next renter which makes perfect sense. I accept it's my fault for not reading thoroughly enough. I just feel like when the very first phrase in the name of the ad is "Hot Tub", there should be some asterisk or a written warning that it's not actually included in the rental price.
