Lovely house close to all amenities
10.0You have everything around this house: mini market, restaurants, nice beaches, park, playground, bars...you name it. But the greatest thing was our hosts, whom we had the chance to meet. We were blessed to visit such a nice place, with welcoming hosts. Thanos and his wife are very nice people and Thanos's son Kostas was always availabe via Whatsapp, so whenever we wanted to ask something we reached out to him and got help in minutes. The beds are very comfy, like staying in a hotel which is very important to have a goodnight sleep even when you are on holiday. There are 2 air conditioners to keep the place cool and many toys outside in a box which were used by our son thoughout our stay. I just want to say thanks again to Thanos' family for their hospitality!
− One night was a bit loud due to a singer just around the corner in one of the restaurant's and he sang until midnight which was a bit disturbing, but that's all. It is not the host's fault, but you have to understand that of course some people want to enjoy themselves and its part of being on a holiday that you have to bear some noise if you are staying close to the beach area.
A little piece of paradise on Crete
10.0Freestanding raised cottage, super clean, bathroom with morning sun and nice little smooth stones on the shower floor, great big dining table indoor and outdoors. The bedroom in the back also had the morning sun, very quiet, good big bed. Lots of greenery around the cottage, including a lot of plants in pots, well maintained. A little piece of paradise, very close to 4 beaches, 2 coves, which had cute small beach bars, a little park to walk in the shade while going to the beach. The host was also very friendly, even brought a little chocolate bread on Wednesday, and was very flexible regarding the checkout time.
− The front gate door was a bit wonky, but it's a very safe neighborhood.
