10.0Wonderful location. Great walking close by. Pub within walking distance for food and dog friendly too. Well equipped. Helpful check in information.

So much to like about this cottage, but unfortunately for us the smell was difficult to live with.
7.0Lovely cosy cottage with views of the river and surrounding hills. We had most things that we needed to cook a meal etc and there was an off road parking space which was great.
− Unfortunately downstairs in the lounge and hall it smelt very strongly of dogs. We went round with a vacuum cleaner and opened the windows every morning but the smell lingered in spite of this, so eventually we bought some 'Shake 'n' Vac' and after a couple of goes it did improve things. Some of the kitchen plates/pans were greasy and had not been washed before the previous occupants put them away, so we had to clean those before using them. The door handle/key was a bit of a struggle to open and could perhaps do with a bit of attention. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
Fabulous hideaway in the glorious Yorkshire Dales
10.0The property is really comfortable and cosy, very clean and brilliantly situated in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Great comms with the owners and they have a brilliant app with loads of useful info. The property is in a tiny village so feels lovely and isolated while handy for Aysgarth, Hawes and more. Amazing walking across the area, including from the door, and lovely pubs within walking distance.

10.0In the heart of the dales. Gorgeous old cottage with superb classic Dale's views from every window. Clean, cosy, well appointed, well stocked. Proximity to Hawes, Wensleydale, Ayresgarth Falls and much else.
