The host was very accommodating and responsive. The home was beautiful, with hidden gems like a mango and avocado trees, cooking supplies (pots, pans, utensils, etc.) & beach necessities. There was plenty of space for my family of 5 + 2 large dogs. Great central location to beaches, food and activities. Fenced in backyard allowed our pups to safely explore outside, which they enjoyed.

− Everything was great! If I had to choose something, it would be location. I thought it was closer to the beach, instead of the middle of an established neighborhood. The neighbors were private and did not interact with us at all. When I saw the property was located near the beach, I assumed it would be a quick ride that would allow us to check in our pups more frequently. However, with traffic, we were about forty minutes from house to sand, which slightly altered our plans.

− A few things- water dispenser in fridge could be fixed. We ended up buying bottled water. Some of the outdoor furniture could be replaced but overall everything was good. Ideally walking distance to a store and restaurant would have been nice but really only fast food nearby. Not a complaint really. Our first time in Clearwater.

Great Location. Nice garden and BBQ. Practical accommodation and room layout with comfortable beds. Nice Cooker and Fridge/Freezer.

− What could have been a very good property was let down by a number of small maintenance issues, anyone one of which on their own would have been acceptable but collectively added up to a significant irritant. To name but a few: drains blocked, power to a number of sockets not operable, Gas canister for BBQ ran out on first use in mid cooking, doors on several kitchen cabinets not hanging or closing properly, no teaspoons at all in cutlery drawer, Oven uncleaned which when used set off smoke detectors whose code to switch off we didn't have. Our hosts were always very responsive but left dealing with too many issues. On arrival we were also presented with a request for the electrician to come in to renew some electrical items and would require an 8 hour switch off which we regarded as an unacceptable intrusion to our rental time and didn't accede to, but it should have been seen as un an unreasonable ask on any property rental.Could have been better Not good enough given the several thousand dollars a week rental cost.
