Superb find

The views and peaceful atmosphere were exceptional. There is a lovely clean kitchen and bedroom and bathrooms. We enjoyed the sauna and the conservatory.

The internet didnt work well in the loch but it made for a forced relaxing time away. There needs to be another blind on the window in the bedroom as it did not get dark until almost midnight and then felt light by 4am. We would love to stay again.

The Sealoch Cottage has a great location with stunning views. Great spot to look at the deers passing as well. It is a very peaceful place, great observatory and comfy bedroom. The wee sauna is a nice addition

It was lacking curtains in the bedroom which makes it hard to sleep specially in summer where sun rises super early. No shower gel or shampoo Could have an outdoor table

Great property in a lovely part of the World. If you crave some peace and quiet then this is the place.

Comfortable cottage with plenty of space. On a clear night the stars and Milky Way are simply staggering. Peaceful surroundings with friendly neighbours, Robins.and plenty of wildlife to keep you occupied.

The heating although efficient didn’t seem to have a thermostat, so it tended to get too hot! The en-suite on the other hand remained cold. The sauna was a welcome surprise! Access from the parking space is okay in good weather, but with some ice or snow on it, I could imagine it being very slippy. The option of some steps would be safer. Also an automatic outside light on the gable end. On dark wet nights with hands full of gear it would have made life easier.

Cosy with great views from conservatory

8.0

We enjoyed breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the loch and fishing boat while we planned our hike for the day. It is peaceful and good for day trips on Harris/Lewis. Comfy bed and good linen. Lovely bath in upstairs en suite. Everything we need for a self catering stay.

Some small repairs needed.

Super séjour dans l’ensemble

9.0

Very peaceful and quiet but it is off the beaten track if that is your thing.

The location is beautiful but is in quite a remote setting so a lot of driving is entailed to visit other parts of the island. If it is peace and quiet that you are after then this is the place. We saw Otters and Red Deer and Eagles from the sun room on the front of the property. We would stay there againn.
