A lovely, well equipped, spacious property, just a short trip away from the heart of Washington DC.

Property was clean and spacious. It is very well equipped with everything you need for a short or a prolonged stay in the area, and was great value. There are plenty of good restaurants and shops locally. We left the car parked at the property and got Ubers on a daily basis into downtown Alexandria or to Washington DC. When we had a problem with the door lock one day, it was instantly resolved by the owner with a quick phone call. The area feels safe. We would recommend it to family and friends, and we would stay again.

− It wasn’t made clear in the advert that we were only renting the ground floor, and that the basement could be separately rented out. The property is situated at the junction of a main road, and the traffic noise is quite loud 24 hours a day, even with the windows closed.

Extremely clean house and spacious enough to relax. It was fairly close to DC downtown and good parking.. the homeowner was very responsive. Was able to get groceries and restaurants right in the area.

We could not be more thankful that this was available.

Cozy, spacious home with privacy for each of us (3 colleagues in the area for a conference). Perfect to return to after a long day out and about. Very clean and met all of our needs. Hosts were responsive when contacted, including after hours, but did not bug us at all. The free in-unit laundry was a huge plus, as was the smart TV. 5 min walking distance to an amazing Ethiopian restaurant called Nazret, and a convenient 7-11. We were desperate for a new place to stay after a prior booking canceled last minute, and we could not have felt luckier that this was available.

− No major complaints. However, it is quite far from downtown Washington or from larger grocery stores. It takes 30-45 minutes to drive into the district during rush hour and there is no metro nearby. Also, the bedroom nearest to the street corner is not very quiet due to the steady stream of traffic overnight. However, each of these were solvable problems by, respectively, getting up earlier and running the provided fan overnight.

Good value if you are looking for multi bedrooms & bathrooms

We needed a place with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms so the property was a good value. The house was also very clean upon arrival. There were other renters in the downstairs apartment, but we never heard them. We appreciated having a living room, dining area, kitchen, and parking.

− The bedrooms and bathrooms were quite small and cramped; there was nowhere to put any belongings. The overhead lights in the living room were overly bright and sterile; meanwhile the bedrooms had just one lamp. The house is situated on a corner, and one of the streets had a steady stream of traffic.

Comfy and relaxing with everything needed to feel like you're at home ,definitely would come back!

The house was cute, clean, lots of care by owners down to every little need. There was parking for a friend’s car. I’d stay there again.
