Great location and property but only 2 bathrooms for our group (not 3 per the booking.com site)

The view, the spacious living area and the kitchen were excellent. Comfortable beds.

− The property description said for six people we would have 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Not true. One of the bathrooms and bedrooms is in a separate building and only opened if we had 10 people booked.

Disappointing, the issues were all avoidable with better communication and response.

The living area, view and location were exceptional. The common areas were very comfortable.

− We arrived expecting, and having paid for, a "5 bedroom house". The property was booked for 8 adults and 2 babies. We were surprised to find the 5th bedroom was in a separate studio and was locked. When we called for the code to get in and entered the studio the bed wasn't made and there was a wet towel on the floor, the unit didn't appear to have been cleaned. On enquiry we were told we selected 4 king sized beds to be made and not the queen bed, it wasn't clear that the queen sized bed was in the separate studio. This would mean the only configuration possible was putting a 1 and 2 year old on their own in the studio (obviously not an option). It was nonsensical not to provide the code for the studio or have it cleaned and made up ready for our booking, particularly as this was the 5th bedroom. The solution provided when we called back was for us to collect our sheets from their office and make the bed. It later become evident the wet towel was present because the air conditioner leaked and managed to drench our luggage when it was turned on. When we called about this we were told the owner was aware.

Atelier was an exceptional property in every way. The position was glorious, the living rooms sensational, and the utility areas offered everything you'd want for a short stay. Would love to come back and stay longer.

− Only one thing - we couldn't get the stove top to work.
