The location and the views were just amazing! Nestled into the side of a valley, the sound of the river rushing below it was so well situated and very beautiful. The facilities were great, as well as the hot tub there was workout gear, books and board games and everything was so thoughtfully set up in the cottage. We had a wonderful time.

Tranquil escape, well equipped clean historic cottage in a beautiful setting.

Storybook cottage setting. Above the banks of a beautifully fast flowing river, with views of rolling hills and fields, surrounded by peaceful lanes. Tranquil and calming. A great bolt-hole for cycling the inclines and valleys around Llangollen. Snowdonia within a daytrip’s reach. Impressively clean, and good working facilities particularly for an old and historic residence.

− It was a privilege to stay at the cottage. Some reviews mention lack of tea bags or minor provisions. Never an issue as I take my own. Shops are 10 min drive away in Llangollen. I topped up the pepper lol. Really no issue! Kitchen is well equipped with the essentials.
