10.0Lovely cottage - fabulously shady in this hot weather with a great through draft! Close (easy walking distance) to the sea and the amenities of the town centre! Comfy beds and beautifully clean. Well equipped with all you need for a week by the sea. Great great front area with latched gate and/or rear yard area enabling a good clean down of the dog post walks. Also enabled us to leave the front door open to make the most of the ventilation without losing the dog out to the road. The seat in the front was lovely for early coffee and/or late glass of wine outside. A washing line in the rear yard was great for drying swimming gear.
− Parking was a bit of a challenge but to be honest we did not move the car much in the week we were there with plenty to keep us amused within walking distance and if needed there were always places in the paid for carpark a few hundred meters down the road and that was free 6pm to 8am. People less physically able may find the stairs steep but with hand rails both sides perfectly manageable for most.

9.0Beautifully presented cottage. Great for our family trip from Scotland. We were down staying in Aldeburgh and sailing at the yacht club. We have two small children aged 3 and 1. Cottage was well placed and easy walk into town and to the yacht club

Overall our break was lovely and Aldeburgh is a great place!
7.0The decor was nice and the beds were very comfortable.
− The stairs are dangerous and require an additional rail due to their steepness. The timed hot water was not helpful for our family. Our preference and choice would have been to have hot water on constant to allow staggered showers in the morning.
