Fantastic Location and beautifully appointed Cottage - the cutest!

10.0

Just the cutest cottge we've ever stayed in Beautiful location in the Dales Cottage was beautifully appointed Bed was sooo comfotable So much history in and around the cottage which we just soaked up and very well written up by Anna including instructions for how everything worked Good heating and had everything we needed for our stay lovely hot shower and well appointed bathroom and kitchen Centrally located for trips around the Dales

Only thing to watch out for was the low beams in the ceilings which I hit my head on a few times - Anna had warned us about these and had lovely lights hanging around beams to warn us. We wished be could have stayed their longer!

Generous wood supply, nice welcome pack of coffee and tea. Warm and cosy on arrival with inviting lighting. So peaceful as a location.

Property not accurately described ,had it been we would not have booked .

4.0

The bed was super comfy All fixtures and fittings worked and were good quality The history of the cottage was excellent and very well done

There was absolutely no reference to it not being suitable for people with mobility issues ,which I have . Had I been made aware of the fact that you parked at the top of a steep slope and had to walk down and up; that where u were expected to sit outside was up a steep slope and that there were steps down to the property as well as a step up to get into both the kitchen and bathroom I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED . I was extremely disappointed with this. Also the photographs of both the cottage and the hall do not actually show the "other " when you book so we had no idea that people in the hall were actually on our doorstep and vice versa for them. Our outside facilities was tiny and access difficult. We did feel like we were in the servants quarters !
