Picturesque cosy cottage in ideal location
10.0Cute cosy pretty little cottage that had everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was more enjoyable as a couples retreat once we dropped our daughter off at pony camp, rather than for a family due to the size of the property and my daughter wanting to spread herself out on the sofa 😀. Exceptional food served at the Fox inn about 3 doors down but gets busy, so probably need to book to get a table inside. Cottage is in a quiet village location but easy driving distance to great places for exploring with our dog such as Dunwich beach and Rendlesham forest (recommend Discover Suffolk app to discover footpaths). The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary was also a good day out.
− Bathroom downstairs wasn’t ideal for night time trips but it was a small price to pay for staying in the lovely cottage.
We found Fox Cottage to be very comfortable and well equipped. A lovely and characterful house.
