I really loved my stay at Ruwan's! Extremely comfortable bed and everything I needed was provided, including a fridge full of cold water! It was a peaceful escape in the jungle, and Ruwan was very friendly and helpful, collecting me in his TukTuk from my hostel and then providing a lift onwards when I left.
− This isn't something that I didn't like, but something to be aware of. The property is a little further away from the main town and beach of Mirissa. Personally, I thought it was really nice to escape and be a bit more separate, but you will probably use tuktuks (very affordable) or have a little walk into town.
There are some restaurants and a smaller beach nearby though.

Spacious, clean rooms equipped with comfy beds, ACs and a modern bathroom. Breakfast was served on our porch every morning and was simple but delicious. The porch had some lovely hammocks to relax in and watch for monkeys / exotic birds / squirrels. Ruwan has his own tuktuk and gave us many rides, even taking us on a tour down to Galle. Location is nice because it’s off the main road, but still very central.
Above all, Ruwan’s family was so kind and welcoming. They invited us to a huge bash for their son’s first birthday, which gave us great insights into Sri Lankan culture and was a wild experience for our baby!

Everything was exceptional Ruwan communication before arrival and during stay very helpful person the place is amazing so peaceful and it’s not far to walk to coconut hill or beach and parrot rock, restaurants ect .Even saw monkey in tree here ,hearing the birds in morning definitely paradise breakfast very good . My room was great hot water fridge water supplied for drinking fan & air con choice very clean and homely touch with plants very comfortable stay good wifi too

Ruwan war ein außergewöhnlicher Gastgeber und extrem zuvorkommend. Er hat sich sofort um all unsere Wünsche gekümmert und zu dem Geburtstag einer Freundin sogar einen Kuchen auf seine Kosten besorgt. Das Frühstück wurde jeden Tag frisch zubereitet und ist da auch auf unsere Obsteünsche eingegangen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und das Bad sauber. Die Lage war auch gut, man ist zwar etwas weiter von der Hauptstraße entfernt aber trotzdem innerhalb 5 Minuten am Strand. Kleine süße Läden, ein Supermarkt sowie ein gym waren auch Fußläufig. All in all, TOP!

− Это было ужасно. Мы забронировали дом, размером 46 метров. Итог- мы приехали, никакого дома там нет. Первый этаж- хозяйский, нас провели по крутой лестнице на второй этаж. Это не дом, а надстройка на втором этаже. Нас поселили в комнату, размер которой, был максимум 23-25 метров, при этом перемещаться там было невозможно, так как стояли две двухспальные кровати. Запах в номере такой, что дышать невозможно- плесень, затхость. У меня астма, она тут же дала о себе знать. Стены в туалетной комнате покрашены в черно- серый депрессивный цвет. Кухня, которую нам показали- это ужас. Комнатка 1*2метра, без окна, духатища, кроме чайника нет ничего. В номере стоит кулер, но ни чашки ни стакана нет. Когда мы попросили 2 стакана, нам их несли минут 10. Хозяин- это вообще отдельный разговор. Когда мы ему сказали, что это не наш дом, который мы бронировали, он нас стал убеждать, что это именно то, что мы забронировали. Когда мы указали, что размер не соответствует нашей брони, он просто предложил вынести одну кровать. Это что, раздвинет стены? После долгих пререканий, он сказал, что наш номер занят. Весело. Ну их там пятеро, а вас двое - сказал он.? Моё какое дело. Он пообещал, что завтра он нас переселит. Ок, мы люди не скандальные, ждём. При этом деньги он взял всё сразу, не дав нам опомниться. Короче, настроение на этот день было испорчено капитально. Ночуем, наступает утро, ничего не происходит. Сидим, ждём. Приходит хозяин и говорит, что вот-вот те жильцы уедут. Ок. Ждём. В это время он начинае нам навязывать свои услуги, что бы нас куда-то отвезти, показывает нам отзывы, причём это навязчиво и настойчиво. Около 12 утра наконец нам(прошло уже полдня) нам показали номер побольше ( комната, а не дом) кошмар. Он чуть-чуть побольше, но там уже стоит 3 огромных кровати, грязь невыносимая, вонь страшная. Мы отказались и стали требовать возврат денег. Мы даже были согласны заплатить за эту жалкую комнатушку ща одну ужасную ночь полную стоимость, но тут начинается кошмар.
