− Cleanliness &Decor should be better for price point. The upstairs shower wouldn’t go cool enough to a suitable temperature ( too hot)

Beautiful old stone cottage
9.0A beautiful old stone cottage right in the middle of the Exmoor countryside. The location is pretty much on the southwest coastal path. Ideal for walkers It's equipped for self catering, has lots of space, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, has a stair gate and cot was ideal for us. Plus heating.
− A few negatives had no kindling to start the wood fire plenty of logs, needed an axe. Parking could be slightly better. Don't know what was going on but being in the middle of nowhere and someone letting off fireworks we thought it, but was just a very loud bangs gone 11:30 was a surprise.
We had a great stay, and enjoyed warm weather, good food and a relaxing time.
8.0The location was exceptional, being at the end of a lane, surrounded by fields and with a sea view as a backdrop. The peace and quiet was superb.
− The house was very charming, being built in te 1600's but with this comes some practical issues, mainly being that the 2 sets of stairs were difficult to traverse. We had a 75 year old with us who struggled with them.
This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
