A very old bungalow remodeled charmingly

The on-site managers were very responsive, friendly, and helpful. The house not only had a nice view of the ocean (from afar) but was also very conveniently located only 150 meters away from a bus stop on the main street. We could get to restaurants in downtown, supermarkets on the other side, and vineyards etc. all by public transportation easily.

− The convenience came with noise. Even with a pair of ear plugs made for industrial purposes, we could constantly hear the traffic gearing up the hill throughout the night (especially from the main BR). The hair dryer was broken, one of the main lamps in the living space had a busted light bulb, and the electric socket underneath the work desk busted and the wifi stopped functioning. When we tried to cook, the oven (which looked as if it were 30-40 years old) did not function smoothly - we had to turn it on and off a few times to get it working. The kitchen was very well stocked, though. :) On the other hand, shower rooms only provide a hand wash and a body wash.

The stars not comfortable

Super stay close to Oneroa

A great property for 6 people with both a spacious indoor lounge area and also outside deck/patio area with BBQ & sun loungers. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need and the beds and linens were super comfortable. Its an easy 10-15 walk into Oneroa village so is very convenient. All in all, highly recommended and I would stay again.

− The only negative is the extremely small hand basin in the ensuite bathroom of the main bedroom. It's a weird set up as the basin is very narrow but the tap is quite large, so there is barely room to wash your hands and if you put the tap on full the water spurts straight down your front and onto the floor! Then cleaning your teeth over the hand basin is impossible as the mirrored cupboard above is in the way, so you have to open the cupboard doors and contort your head side ways.... Absolutely fine for a couple of nights but would drive me nuts if I lived there!!

The views were amazing. It was great to have 3 x double rooms for our family. Everything we needed to use in the kitchen which was great. Good to have 2 seperate bathrooms. Very comfortable lounge area. My daughter fell asleep on the window seat looking out at the view. The outdoor area was great to sit and have a relaxed breakfast. Beautiful birdsong in the morning..

− The driveway is very difficult to get out of as you back out of a steep drive onto a busy road with cars coming round corners in both directions. If you are a light sleeper i wud suggest ear plugs and an eye mask . Noise from cars on main road and very light window covers. Also lights from cars in main bedroom. We contacted the managers twice and they were very quick to reply. One for more towels. Suggest some spare towels be kept at the property. And a beeping smoke alarm but very quickly fixed. Unfortunately for us the neighbour on the right decided to replace his roofing and started 8.00 am every morning. Lastly we noticed a sewerage smell on the last 2 days we were staying there which did reach inside with the windows open..

Very comfortable

− Nothing
