Die Lage, nahe am Guincho Strand. Ein kleiner Markt um die Ecke. Die blitzsaubere (neue?) Mikrowelle und die kleine Spülmaschine. Das Bett war groß und bequem.

− We left early because we wanted to have a nicer accommodation for our last two days. The listing and photos on booking.com give a rather misleading impression of Villa Abano and its condition. It is not clear from the photos which villa is which, and so we were very disappointed to find that our villa looked more like a converted garage. The terrace was uninviting, the bench on the terrace was dilapidated, the kitchen was inadequately equipped (1 teaspoon, 3 coffee cups?) and there was a hole in the yellow plaster in the bathroom. In our opinion, the price for this type of accommodation is far too high. Not to mention the area behind the house, where rubbish is piling up. The daily bread delivery is meant to be a nice touch, but ultimately it can – as in our case – be a huge waste of food. Unfortunately, the owner ignored my request to stop the deliveries. In 2025 we booked a house near the Cascais golf course, which cost just €100 more per week. Compared to that, the price of „Villa“ Abano is really not reasonable. I’m sorry I can’t say anything more positive, but I feel misled by the listing on Booking.com. The owner did not react to my complaint.

Great hosts, beautiful spacious house near Guincho and Cascais. Highly recommended.

Good location, near Guincho, the best beach in the area. Beautiful house clean and spacious with a lovely terrasse. Two big rooms upstairs plus a sofa bed downstairs. Quiet village, no noise. A nice restaurant and a small grocery shop at 50m.

My 10 year old daughter lives in NYC and I live in London. We don’t get to spend enough time together so when we do, I try to make things as special as possible for her. Our memories are precious. Our stay at Villa Cresmina, part of the exquisite Sea’Ya collection was exceptional, ensuring that our time was beyond special and the memories we created will last a lifetime. There are only positives to share, from the location to the comfort, the cleanliness to the kindness of our hosts. We cannot recommend António and Maria and Sea’Ya highly enough. Truly. We will be back!
