10.0This is literally a "jungle retreat". The wooden houses are immersed in the jungle, its trees, plants, scents, and animals. You can see it breathing just by sitting in the balcony or looking through the windows. Right below there's the beautiful colors of the seas and islands that surround the village. The host, mr Nan, has designed and lived in the place for 30 years. kept bringing us fruits, sweets, and offering advice for the many activities to do around the island. We wished we had more time to know him better.

− Niets, locatie is iets verder weg. Dus eigen vervoer is wel handig.
Decent stay , nice view
6.0Nice view, located very close to island hopping, when we reported an issue, they attended to it immediately.. House owner was very friendly, helpful and kind. He gave us a lot of tips about spotting animals n birds near the stay.
− Facilities very ok .. not great .. Toaster did not work properly.. No AC in the living room, and the fan was also very slow .. have to stay inside the bedrooms on hot days .. Microwave was very dirty, not usable .. Toothbrush, handwash , face towels were not provided.
Fantastisch een absolute aanrader
8.0Bij aankomst werden we opgewacht en onze koffers werden naar het appartement getild, wat erg fijn was gezien alle trappen. Zainol(eigenaar) was zeer vriendelijk en kwam meermaals checken of alles nog goed was. Hij stelde voor om een boottocht te doen(samen met nog een ander gezin) en dit heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen. Hij nam ons de hele dag mee, vertelde over Maleisie en over Sari Village, liet ons zwemmen en hij had heerlijk eten meegenomen. Het ontbijt is voortreffelijk, boek deze zeker bij hem (vooral als je van kokos houd). Het huis was enorm groot. We waren heel erg blij met de airco in de slaapkamers. De dieren rondom het huis was zeker een plus-punt, onze kinderen konden er geen genoeg van krijgen. Het uitzicht is fenomenaal. Je komt hier helemaal tot rust.
− We moesten even wennen toen we aankwamen. Het huis en omgeving is in 35 jaar niet heel veel ge-update. Maar Zainol(eigenaar) en zijn gastvrijheid en alle positieve punten heffen dit zeker op. De eerste dag dachten we " wat doen we hier" maar gingen weg met " wat was dit fantastisch zeg" Ik had zo nog 2 weken langer kunnen blijven. De huiskamer heeft geen airco, dus het kan soms erg warm worden. Wij hadden een auto gehuurd via de eigenaar, dit is absoluut een aanrader aangezien niet alle taxi's de bult op durven rijden. Dit hebben we zelf mogen ervaren en dan moet je een flinke klim wandelen naar het huis.

10.0We had a fantastic stay at Sari village resort. The house is huge and has everything that you could need for a stay. The resort is set in the jungle so you regularly see monkeys, beautiful birds, iguanas and frogs . It is close to town but you really need to hire a car ( which is so cheap) or order a taxi to get to and fro. The owner was so friendly and dropped us into town on numerous occasions rather than us call a taxi. He took us out on a boat trip and provided local breakfast and lunch and told us all about Langkawi,its history and all about the Mangroves. Would definitely recommend!!
