Peaceful but uncomfortable
7.0The location was peaceful and had a lovely garden. The beach was 5-10min away by foot. The bedroom was comfortable, and the kitchen had all the appliances. The house was nice and clean, and the garden was tidy and spacious.
− The kitchen is poorly stocked with utensils. It had the bare minimum; the only knife available was for bread. It lacked dishes, and it primarily had plastic plates. There were only two large cups, so we took turns during breakfast, and there were no coffee cups. This kitchen setup is not practical for families with kids who plan to stay more than a few days and dont want to eat out daily. We didn't have hot water when there was no sun during bad weather, so we had to bathe in cold water, including my 4-year-old. The bathroom would flood every time we took a shower or used the washing machine. We contacted the property, but they took 20 hours to respond, so we bought our own liquid to unblock the pipes (and we were not refunded). When we had issues with the washing machine, the owner just told us to "mop up." The pull-out bed was very uncomfortable, and the outdoor cooking stove was not functional. To top it off, the property canceled our booking after the end of our stay, affecting my booking genius level, and they didn't respond to inquiries from me or the Booking.com support team.
