Es ist ein typisches altes irisches Haus, sehr ursprünglich mit einem Ofen, ein Haus so, wie man es damals in Irland baute, Stein und Strohdach. Es hatte etwas Mystisches an sich. Es hat uns im ersten Moment sehr gut gefallen.
− Die Bäder werden auf booking.com nicht abgebildet, da es viel Schimmel gibt durch die Feuchtigkeit und da das Haus nicht geheizt wird, wenn niemand drin ist. Die Heizung lief am ersten Abend gar nicht, so dass wir die erste Nacht im Kalten verbracht haben. Der Zuständige hat uns ein Torffeuer im Kamin bereiten lassen, so könnten wir vor dem Kamin etwas Wärme tanken, die Zimmer waren jedoch kalt und es war insgesamt eine feuchte Atmosphäre im Haus. Die Heizung wurde am nächsten Morgen gerichtet, und wir konnten uns endlich aufwärmen. Empfehlung an den Betreiber: Die Heizung nie ganz ausschalten, wenn die Leute wieder weg sind; das Haus müsste permanent geheizt werden, zumindest etwas, um Schimmel zu reduzieren oder zu vermeiden. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt hier nicht.

Unique cottage with Thatched roof!
− Beds were a bit uncomfortable and could use a mattress pad on them. Could use some outside furniture to enjoy the outside weather. Love the clothesline house outside! Loved the fireplace! Location waa great for day trips if you dont mind driving! Restaurants were limited locally but definitely go to Leos on Wednesdays.
