Private, amazing getaway

The manager, Nola, was warm and pleasant. Available at all times, answering my queries pre-arrival even at the most inconvenient times. Facilities were excellent, everything that was required to make a memorable getaway for a group of mixed pensioners who had completed matric 46 years ago. Amazing sea views and accessibility to beach added to the attraction of this beautiful cottage. Enough bathrooms to please even the most fastidious of us. Security was also tops.

Perfect location love the quiet clean beach. House needs a facelift/deep clean.

Location. Just a few steps from a beautiful quiet secluded beach. Nice spot for dogs and kids.

− House is very old and was not the cleanest. Showers need a good scrub. The newer one already has grime on the floor tiles and still had sand from the previous occupants. Other shower curtain was covered in black mould. Lots of fix ups needed around the house which we could look past as were there for the beach but surprisingly we were accused of breaking one of the very very old ceiling fan’s glass lamps even though it was obviously already like that. It has a lightbulb installed that is much larger than the left over broken lamp so it would never have fit around the bulb if it had in fact been in tact before us. Was a bit insulting to be accused when the house needs so much work as it is. We did however, get our full deposit back after disputing this accusation. Didn’t like that we had to bring pretty much everything with. Bath towels, soap, even dish washing liquid/dishwasher tablets. No complementary items whatsoever. No tea or coffee. No TV unless you bring a dstv decoder which we don’t have one of.

Views, location, well equipped kitchen and fantastic beach that was clean and spectacular with dolphin and whales sightings

− A little revamp and intensive cleaning would bring it up to scratch
