5.0The Location is stunning on the doorstep to lots of the Peaks Highlights. Picturesque cottages Lovely Staff
− The Farmhouse on the outside is picture perfect BUT The whole Farmhouse needs a re paint there are patches of peeling paint places where things have been stuck up and clumps of paint missing. Paint that has been touched up that isn't the same shade so sticks out. The carpets needs cleaning there was stains here and there. The shower curtain needs washing or replacing. The Windows outside and in need of a deep cleaning paticularly the kitchen which particularly spoil the views onto the fields. It was clean but needs a deep clean The games and pool area again needs a good clean and paint refresh. The grounds although stunning need a gardening i love a wild garden but 4ft nettles outside the windows is a bit too much! The site just needs a good clean up it looks tired and unloved.

7.0Absolutely loved this little cluster of cottages. Perfect base to do alot of sightseeing. Loved our cottage as we all had our own bathroom. Staff so friendly.
− The cottages all need modernising badly. Felt like everything in there was from a thrift shop and over cluttered with chintz. The grounds are not looked after, there is no kids play area, it was all taped off. All the Outdoor table n chairs we covered in moss and bird poo. The swimming pool was not in use as it was having a new pump fitted(we did get compensated for this). The games room was fun but very worn out. The boot room was being used for storage. At the back of the swimmimg pool building it was like a dumping ground for all old furniture and equipment. This place could be stunning and the cottages amazing , they need a full refurbishment really. If it was we would definitely be going back. We made the best of our holiday..

9.0Great site and location with good facilities. Cottages were well equipped and the new outdoor furniture was comfortable
− The only thing missing was a BBQ - we had to do our burgers in the frying pan!
A great family spot in a beautiful location with great facilities.
9.0The location and cottages themselves were lovely, well equipped and we would stay again. The on site pool was a good size and was a great addition.
− The information/communications between the listing, on site hand book/notices and messages to the hosts were conflicting which was a little confusing. Also the outside play area was closed which we weren't notified of beforehand, which was a little disappointing
