I loved the location, the place and the boat style of the house (it's actual a boat converted in house). Very quite and calm, in the nature. Parking next to the door, nice view of the olive grove and the sea. You are near (with car) nice quit and clean beaches (5 mins), small traditional village but also big village (Mazotos 10 mins) and Dromolaxia (20 mins) where you can find anything you may need for more entertainment like bars or cafeterias if you need. Also the place has much wind, and doesn't feel hot even at midday.

− While the place and house is beatiful, it's not cared at all from its owner. 1) The house was like almost never cleaned in the last years. Everything was dirty. The kitchen utensils, forks spoons and knives all needed at least 1-2 good washes before use, because the were full of food dirt and oils. The pans are not for use, as their condition is absolutely unhealthy, with deep scratches in the non-stick coating or almost holes in one pan that is not compatible with the gas kitchen (fire has destroyed it). Fortunately the bed linen and towels had been washed, but not recently, and they smell a bit humidity. Also walls are never cleaned. Toilet, tables etc were half cleaned.. 2) Lots of things need simple repairs in the house. There are not important for your stay (except the oven that is not working) but that's a pitty for such a nice house, to be almost abandoned, falling in disrepair. 3) Things were missing from kitchen and i had to ask for them to be given. 4) The facility is electrified by solar and wind, but the installed batteries are not enough. Almost every morning i had no electric and water (water comes from drill, and without electric, there is no water to wash yourself) All the above, are also mentioned in older reviews since 2023. I had read them but hoped they had been fixed since then. Unfortunately nothing is fixed all these years. That's a pitty, seems owner doesn't care to fix the problems and improve. Also i never saw the owner. Only a woman that can't speak greek.

Sehr ruhige Lage, fernab von Trubel.. Eigentlich alles notwendige vorhanden. Mir hat es gereicht! Der Besitzer ist freundlich. Man muss schon aktiv auf ihn zugehen und kommunizieren ;-)

− Ein paar kleine Details wären noch zu verbessern, zB. neue Töpfe in der Küche, neuer Duschvorhang…etc. War für mich kein Problem, aber andere werden sich dran stoßen!

Beautiful setting, quiet, all the amenities you need including washing machines and cooking facilities. Andreas was a lovely host and we would definitely book again! If you’re looking for a taste of rural Cyprus, this is definitely the place for you. The WiFi was superb!

− There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, although I appreciate that it’s not to everybody’s taste.

Andreas è stato molto disponibile, discreto e simpatico. Non ha esitato a riparare ad un piccolo inconveniente doccia. Ci ha dato ottimi consigli, è veramente una persona fantastica!!! E molto simpatico anche il suo gatto che ci veniva a trovare ogni giorno! Soggiorno stupendo grazie!!!

Terrible experience – dirty, unhealthy conditions and rude host

− We had to leave the property shortly after arriving due to how unclean and unhealthy it was. The place was extremely dirty — it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time (maybe never). There were white bugs in the bed, and the general state of hygiene was unacceptable. I wiped down the table and chairs with cleaning wipes, and the wipes turned dark brown, which shows just how much dirt had accumulated. We were not expecting luxury — we had realistic expectations based on the photos — but nothing could prepare us for the condition this property was in. It was not just below standard; it was uninhabitable. When we decided to leave, the host, Andreas, came to the property and was extremely rude and dismissive. He told us we don’t like "normal clean,” but in our opinion, the place had clearly not been cleaned at all. His attitude only added to the stress of an already awful situation. I would strongly advise future guests to reconsider booking this property. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and sadly, this place did not meet even that. We’re genuinely surprised that this property has such a high score on Booking.com — our experience didn’t reflect that at all. I’m really sorry I didn’t take more photos to fully document the condition, but I’ve attached the ones I was able to capture. I hope this helps future guests make an informed decision. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone.
