10.0Gizela is an excellent host. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. The house is in a beautiful location above Velas with a stunning view of Mt. Pico. There's a lovely outside area and BBQ.

10.0Die sieben Häuser der Vermieterin liegen hoch über Velas mit traumhafter Aussicht. Die Anfahrt ist eng und steil, aber machbar. Die Häuser sind sehr geschickt angeordnet, so dass jedes privat und damit ruhig ist. Es gibt für jedes Haus einen Grillplatz und eine Terrasse. Unsere Unterkunft war sehr groß. Im Erdgeschoss liegen zwei Schlafzimmer (2 Betten, Nachttisch, Schrank), das Bad und eine große Küche mit Essbereich, sehr geräumig. Im nach oben offenen ersten Stock befindet sich ein Wohnzimmer mit einem zusätzlichen Bett. Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet mit viel Geschirr, Salz & Pfeffer und Waschmitteln sowie einem Willkommenskorb mit Keksen, Wasser und Tee. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine und eine Wäscheleine für draußen und innen. Das Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss ist klein mit Wanne. Pro Person bekamen wir drei Handtücher, ausreichend für unseren Aufenthalt. Die Schlafzimmer lassen sich gut abdunkeln. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr engagiert.
− Für uns nicht relevant, aber: Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern fehlen Geländer rund um das Haus und am Treppenaufgang. Im Badezimmer haben wir ein paar Haken vermisst. Aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit trocknen feuchte Sachen aber sowieso langsamer und sind besser draußen aufgehängt.

9.0Casa molto ampia e luminosa con vista eccezionale su Velas e Pico. Posizione ottima, la strada è ripida ma facilmente percorribile.
− Letto matrimoniale scomodo e rumoroso. Leggero odore di umidità ma molto meno rispetto ad altre case delle Azzorre.
