The space and layout was very good, quiet on an evening. Great parking for one vehicle. Friendly and responsive hosts. Lighting, blinds and window systems were good to have and instructions were very clear. WiFi was excellent. Location was not far from the centre. The electric fans were really essential considering the heat although one of the fans wasn't in the best of conditions. All-in all, good value accommodation for four people.

− These are small things for an otherwise very nice accommodation tbh but would make it excellent: Some more hooks in the bathroom and a shelf for toiletries would be useful. Also, a washing line for the courtyard would help. A plug for the kitchen sink or a bowl would help. The rug, sofa and outside area would really benefit from a good clean. A small freezer compartment would have been a benefit too considering the heat.

We have stayed here 3 times now favourite place to stay in Brighton/hove we are tradesmen working in the local area hosts are lovely and the place is amazing would definitely recommend and will be staying again

A great location in a beautiful town, convenient to everything while being off the beaten path

A totally great location, right next door to family we were visiting. Just a few minutes walk to some lovely pubs and to the beach. It has a very usable kitchen, comfy beds, and is a nice place to just hang out. We were on the go the whole time but it was so nice to come home to at the end of the day.

The beds were comfortable to sleep on. Location not too far from the sea

− The location was ok Hidden Gem was definitely Hidden but we found eventually. We could not sit outside. This was disappointing. Table and chairs were dirty. Patio with dead leaves was not swept although the broom was there, and some rubbish. Indoors, no shower gel.

A true hidden gem — beautifully designed, spotlessly clean and wonderfully comfortable.

This apartment truly lives up to its name — "hidden gem" is the perfect description. Tucked away behind a private gate and a second secured entrance, with its own separate key, the place feels remarkably safe and private. The fact that it's a self-contained annex with its own entrance adds to that sense of seclusion and independence. Inside, the apartment is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. The two separate bedrooms, the living area with kitchenette, and the bathroom are all very well equipped — everything you could need is right there. The attention to detail in the interior design is immediately noticeable, and coming back to such a lovely, cosy space each evening was genuinely a pleasure. One of the standout features is the lighting — warm, atmospheric and carefully thought through. Combined with electrically operated blinds and lights, the whole experience feels effortlessly convenient and surprisingly luxurious. We would recommend this place without hesitation. A truly special find.

− If we had to find a single complaint, it would be the weather — but that's hardly the host's fault! And honestly, the apartment was so welcoming and comfortable that even a few rainy days couldn't dampen our stay.
