Our time at No 5 Pilmour was delightful!
10.0The location is excellent…just a block from the Old Course. And our room was exceptional—tastefully decorated, warm and inviting with comfy armchairs, and a beautiful oversized bathroom featuring a deep claw foot tub and modern shower.
− The only downside was not having another night there.
All good but the bathroom was a huge let down
5.0Great location. Lovely staff at breakfast. Clean.
− The bathroom isn’t heated and was freezing. Because of this, having a shower (or even walking into the bathroom) was a really unpleasant experience. Plus, towels remained damp all the time. The shower was so weak it was difficult to rinse soap off and impossible to keep warm in the very cold room temperature. Very disappointing especially because it is not a cheap property.

7.0It was nice and quiet, and I slept well. I thought the breakfast could have been a little fuller - I know hash browns aren't Scottish but the full Scottish could have done with some kind of carb component, and I would ahve liked the option of more toast. It would have been nice to have a caffeine-free option in the in-room teas and coffees too - maybe peppermint or one of those lemon & ginger combos
− Maybe the Dunvegan could postpone putting out a binful of rattly bottles until morning? I was trying to have an early night!

8.0The room was excellent and bathroom was wonderful and the location was perfect
− There was no kettle or teabags, my wife and I don't like coffee. Although if we did it was well covered. Breakfast was fine but 1 sausage was a bit poor unfortunately I didn't ask for another one
Good value and centrally located close to the Old Course... Very convenient!

Good location, comfortable bed, clean spacious shower room and friendly staff.
8.0Breakfast choices were very good and well-cooked. We enjoyed meeting and talking to other travellers over breakfast.
