NO ELECTRICITY. Glamping is only reached by High clearance vehicle, or in the rainy season a 4X4. At the Glamping there are three tents. Two tent arte used for sleeping and the third for a kitchen. The kitchen complies of a deep freeze a one plate stove and cold water basin. The master tent is almost next to the tent with an open roof, has a kingsize bed with a sleeper couch, the second tent has a double bed & bunker beds with two toilets a sink and shower a few yards from the tent. Make sure that you are a nature lover, are used to braai on a open fire and look at the stars. You are in Pristine nature, 100% private and this should make up for the treacherous road and lack of electricity and the luxuries you do not have. Turn back to nature and enjoy.

The perfect reset for a weary soul.

The farm was absolutely stunning, my dog had the time of his life being able to run around. The views on the Blougat trail were incredible. Annete was an amazing host and was so kind to allow us to come in rather late in the evening.

The lovely Riverbed Africa

The view and constant communication from the host up until we arrived. And notifications when there was anything we needed to be aware of. The tranquility was wonderful and the yard was spacious and the guesthouse had ample space.

− We thought the blue lagoon was easily accessible until we received the map on the day of arrival

Great for 4x4's, not smaller SUV's

The view on the way there.

− The road to the property was not suitable for our vehicle and then to the chalet was not accessible at all. The hostess did try to make an alternative road, but our car could not manage the road without damaging the tyres. We had to find alternative accommodation.

Our stay

The staff were lovely. The location was BEAUTIFUL! The room was too small. No cupboards, no mirror, no fan. Little bugs on the bed as we arrived. I dusted them off and few minutes later, more Little bugs on the bed. The fell in through the roof, I assume. Road to get there very bad and very long. Damaging for normal car. Needs 4 wheel drive only. We left after one night. The lady on charge was very kind and immediately refunded the second night we paid for. I didn't even ask her for a refund. As I say. Lovely people, Lovely nature.
