This is an excellent option if you love living space and proximity to town without the noise
9.0All spaces in the 'room' is very spacious, from the living area to the kitchen to the bedroom to the bathroom! The room was comfortable in a quiet location. The 'fireplace' heater was also a nice touch!
− The noise from the hot water from neighbouring rooms can be quite loud. If you're there in winter, it does take a while to heat the room because ceilings are high and floor plan is open.

− The bathroom was seperate from room so you had to go out of your room up a passage to toilet I was not told this and would not have booked if I had known They moved me for 2 nights but said couldn’t move for all and it was free the 3rd night They said would have bathrobe but after asking I didn’t receive No value for money at all Make sure you get an apartment as they are great

6.0It was I a nice spot close to town
− I had an issue with the gas heater, which they came and resolved quickly. However I did report a trip hazard to them when I checked out. I have had no response. I did fall, but luckily only ended up with a bruised hand and knee. There were a few little things that were lacking. No tissues, which I consider just a basic. Plus it was virtually impossible to watch any free to air television. Could do with a good deep carpet clean
Somewhere to sleep at night and be away from all day, hotel experience minus the reception.
3.0Prime location in Daylesford close to shops and restaurants, beautiful heritage building contributed to the Victorian spa town vibe of the region. Beautiful shared sitting room and well-equipped (if small) rooms in the grey building.
− Heaters were automatically on and kept the room and the building uncomfortably hot the entire stay, had to keep the window open and the fan on in order to sleep comfortably. Pillows provided were confusingly two massive, crinkly faux velvet couch cushions and two structureless body pillows. Stairs were slanted downwards and dangerously steep, struggled to move luggage in and out of the building. Heritage building meant that any time people were walking around upstairs, every floorboard in the building creaked, badly complementing the tight feeling of the budget room we booked. Separate private bathroom was a little inconvenient but the booking made good warning of the situation and the facilities were satisfactory, although it did make it difficult to get a drink of water at night. I suppose we got what we paid for considering the price point (compared to other stays in Daylesford) and the short notice we booked on, but the double room with separate bathroom is unrepresentative of the quality of other suites at The Albert.
