I loved the traveller vibe and the staff weee excellent. I booked it because of all the places on the island, the tours with Ahmed came up so highly rated every time. We were not disappointed- we had the most fantastic day swimming with 6 whale sharks. It was the most unbelievable experienced and all credit goes to Ahmed. When my husband lost his mask, he even found him another one. Dhangethi Island itself feels very local and definitely not overtaken by tourism. There are few restaurants and the food is very similar but the staff and the views are just fantastic. Do book a few days on Dhangethi and do a trip with Ahmed.

− It would have been helpful to have soap in the bathroom and perhaps some softer lighting in the room.

Habitación grande y limpia con baño completo y aire acondicionado. La cama y las almohadas son muy cómodas. Desayuno incluido todas las mañanas con café, zumo, tostadas, tortilla, salchichas y dulces. Tiene una cocina que puedes usar y agua disponible siempre que quieras. El chico que prepara el desayuno y limpia las habitaciones es encantador. Hicimos las excursiones con Ahmed, el propietario y siempre intentó cumplir con nuestras expectativas y consiguió que viéramos mantas, tortugas, delfines, tiburones ballena, bancos de arena y muchos peces en el snorkel. Él nos dió gafas y aletas nuevas para las excursiones y nos las dejó hasta el último día. El alojamiento está en la calle principal cerca de los restaurantes y tiendas, y a unos minutos andando del bikini beach. En la habitación había toallas de ducha y toallas de playa. El wifi funcionaba con rapidez.

Azért választottuk ezt a szálláshelyet a Maldív utunkra, mert a snorkelezés volt az elsőrendű célunk és a visszajelzések szerint a szállásadó nagyszerű kirándulásokat szervez. Valóban Ahmed fantasztikus helyekre vitt el minket, gyönyörű korallzátonyoknál jártuk, teknősöket, mantát is láttunk. Nagyon figyelt ránk és a komfortunkra, biztonságban éreztük magunkat mellette. A kirándulásokhoz tökéletes kiindulási pont volt a szállás. Naponta volt takarítás, ami plusz komfortot adott. Ami nekünk még fontos volt a légkondi, ami jól működött és a tágas fürdőszoba. Plusz volt egy külső zuhany a szálláshelyen és egy mosógép, ami nagyon jó volt snorkelezés, strandolás után. Voltak kedves gesztusok, amelyek jólesőek voltak, a feldíszített ágy, kókuszdió és távozáskor a szuvenírek. Igen a mecset közel van, de nem zavart minket, ez is része amikor valaki egy más kultúrájú országba megy és része az élménynek.

− Mivel nekünk a legfontosabb a snorkel volt, ezért mentünk és ezt az élményt meg is kaptuk, ami kifogásolható lehet, az nem volt nekünk olyan érdekes. A szoba egyszerű, egy kis felújítás ráférne, a konyhára is egy nagyobb takarítás. Mivel a konyhát nem használtuk, az ágy és a fürdőszoba rendben volt, így nekünk ez így tökéletes volt.

Poor A/C... Breakfast like prison food... Asked for help for snorkeling and fishing and got none

Dhangheti Inn is a fantastic guest house - highly recommend!

We were two families staying with kids ranging from 12 to 19. We stayed 8 nights. Some of us have stayed at the Dhangheti Inn in the past and due to a great experience we chose to stay again. Our host is amazing, taking us out on his boat for tours where we swam with marine life (Mantas, Turtles, Sharks) and saw dolphins, and spent lots of time searching for whale sharks, unfortunately not to be this time! Our host made sure we did not want for anything, even providing us a home cooked meal which was delicious! The rooms are comfortable and cool. The rooms had flat screen TV, where we could log into our Netflix. We had breakfast each morning and there is a little kitchenette, supplied with bottled water daily and a washing machine for guest use. The Dhangheti Inn is located in the main street, and near two great restaurants (Compass and Blue Moon). It is approx 5-10min walk to bikini beach. During our tours our host filmed and then sent us the videos daily, which is fantastic as it our allowed us to be in the moment and not muck around with technology. There are also some old masks and fins available, which was handy as some of the kids fins broke and we were able to use the spare ones. Dhangheti is a local island so be aware that there are rules for visitors for respectful dressing and a mosque with early morning prayers. We loved the culture of the island, but it's not for everyone. We loved our trip so much that we are already talking of when we can go back! We can highly recommend the Dhangheti Inn and it's our first choice in any Maldives accommodation!
