Our family of six, including grandparents and two young children, had an unforgettable stay at Eden Court during our holiday in Lijiang. The three bedroom private courtyard was the perfect size for us, offering both comfort and privacy. The property was spotless, with excellent heating that kept us warm through the cold winter nights. Towels and toiletries were thoughtfully provided, and the kitchen was well-equipped with cooking utensils, a stove, and an ample supply of drinking water—making it easy to prepare meals when we wanted to. Laundry was available upon request. What truly set Eden Court apart was our wonderful hostess, Hui. She was incredibly hospitable and caring throughout our stay. Hui shared fantastic restaurant recommendations that showcased authentic local flavors away from the usual tourist spots. She also suggested great day trips and was always available whenever we needed assistance. When one of our family members fell ill, Hui went above and beyond to help us find medical care and the necessary medication—a gesture we deeply appreciated. The location of Eden Court could not have been better. Nestled in the heart of Lijiang Old Town, all major attractions were within walking distance. While taxis cannot enter the old town directly, Hui arranged for a trishaw to transport our luggage from the designated drop-off point, sparing us the hassle of navigating cobblestone streets with heavy bags. Eden Court is a gem for families seeking a comfortable, authentic, and worry-free experience in Lijiang. We wholeheartedly recommend it and would love to return someday!

Cosy little villa, centrally located in a charming old town

We took three bedrooms and had the whole place to ourselves. I think even for two bedrooms, the owner may give you the whole place. Very cosy and perfect for a group of six like us. Well designed for comfort and homeliness. The bathrooms are heated (with heated toilet seats) with hot air blowing from the top. We were there in autumn so it was about 10deg C and comfortable. The owner is really lovely and helpful, with good tips on food around the area. The villa is located in the centre of the old town and she arranged for a porter to help us with our luggage as no cars are allowed in the old town. It’s about a 10min walk in. We had elderly folks with us and they walked too, but slowly. It feels great to live in the old town and explore all the streets, like a maze. The place was clean and beautiful. There is one bedroom on the ground floor and two bedrooms on the upper floors, all en suite and heated

− The kitchen needs some upgrading but given we ate out, we were hardly there. But the kitchen is well set up for cooking, and we used it for cutting fruit.

Beautiful and tasteful quality accommodation. Great but quiet location and exceptional host.

The host Sisi was exceptionally warm, welcoming and helpful during our stay. She was there to meet us and also offered to help get some ingredients for cooking while we were there. She also guided us and walked us to a recommended pick up point for our private bus. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Quality bedding and linen, furniture and style. It is close to places to eat and shop yet quiet. We had the whole place to ourselves and were very comfortable.

− We booked the entire place so that we can used the kitchen. Just a bit more attention to the cleanliness of the kitchen would be perfect.

Very clean house and comfortable beds. Strong wifi. Nice to have a kitchen and dining area to have the option to eat in. It's super nice to sit in the swing chair in the yard and watch the clouds. The host Hui is very welcoming and goes out of the way to help.
