− Air conditioner wasn't responsive to changing the temperature, which in June is a problem.

− We travelled with three children and stayed for just one night, so a smooth check-in was very important to us.The property manager initially called to ask where we were and what time we would arrive. After reaching the boat house, I called to let him know we had arrived. He asked us to walk to the hotel and wait outside for 15 minutes. It was around 5:30 p.m. We waited over 30 minutes, but he never showed up. When we tried calling him back, the call went straight to voicemail. We then called the number posted on the property door, which connected us with the owner. She explained that the manager had been delayed due to an emergency at another hotel. After I told her we had three children who urgently needed to use the washroom, she asked me to send our passport information via WhatsApp and said she would send the access codes. There was another delay, and I had to follow up before we finally received them. Once inside, we had to carry our luggage up a very narrow staircase. We then struggled to access the room and couldn’t figure out how to turn on the lights or air conditioning because no instructions had been provided. When I called to ask how the system worked, instead of helping, the owner became upset. After I explained that the check-in had been inconvenient, she raised her voice and told us, “If you don’t like my property, leave and find another one.”The room itself was clean, but the shower was extremely small and did not have a handheld shower head, which made it difficult to use with children. There was also no ironing board available.I understand emergencies happen, but when you run a hospitality business, you need to ensure guests are properly received and make alternative arrangements when issues arise. Guests travel from other countries after long journeys and expect a smooth check-in with everything ready;that is the service they are paying for.Unfortunately, the poor communication, disorganized check-in, owner’s rude attitude i would not recommend!
