Louisa was brilliant, very helpful and very personable. The pool was fantastic, lovely salt water, perfect temperature to relax in or actually swim. It was so peaceful and a perfect base for us to unwind or explore.

− The beds were a bit uncomfortable for me; I could feel the springs, and I prefer a very hard mattress, so just not what I need for my body. This didn't impact our stay, though; we just weren't as refreshed as we could have been, but I would still return.

Communication with Lucia was outstanding. She responded quickly in a friendly and efficient manner.

This was one of those places where reality fully matched – and in some aspects even exceeded – our expectations. Before booking, we carefully read both the property description and previous reviews, and I can honestly say that everything was exactly as advertised. The property consists of several charming independent units that appear to have originally formed a traditional rural estate. We stayed in Casa do Limoeiro, named after the beautiful lemon tree in front of it. This gives the whole place a unique atmosphere that is increasingly difficult to find. Although every unit has its own kitchen, guests can also use a large shared outdoor kitchen with a BBQ, coffee machine and a spacious communal dining table. This is a wonderful bonus rather than a necessity. Coffee lovers will especially appreciate the bean-to-cup coffee machine (bring your own beans), while the private kitchens also include a moka pot. The kitchen equipment was probably the best we have seen in more than ten years of renting holiday properties. There were plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery, sharp knives, pots, pans and cooking utensils. For once, it felt like a kitchen designed by people who actually cook. The entire property is clearly maintained with care and attention. Everywhere you look, you can see ongoing improvements and thoughtful details. The saltwater pool is excellent, with separate areas for small children, older children and adults. There are enough sunbeds for all guests, and during our stay every single mattress appeared brand new. Another great advantage is the location. Being situated on a hill means there is usually a pleasant cooling breeze, making the property surprisingly comfortable even during hot summer days. We often found it more pleasant than the busy coastal towns. We enjoyed seeing geckos and even a stunning green chameleon. It became clear that the owners prefer natural solutions which contributes to the authentic atmosphere of the place.

− Nothing listed below significantly affected our stay, but some future guests may appreciate knowing these details in advance. The kitchen belonging to Casa do Limoeiro is located across a hallway rather than directly inside the apartment. The hallway can also be used to access a neighbouring unit, although alternative access exists as well. This never caused us any inconvenience, but it is worth mentioning for guests expecting the kitchen to be fully integrated into the apartment. A car is practically essential. The nearest grocery store is about 3 km away, and most beaches require a drive of roughly 15–30 minutes. For us this was not a disadvantage because we wanted to explore Algarve, but guests looking for a beachfront holiday within walking distance should be aware of it. The final section of the access road is unpaved. However, it is short and perfectly manageable with a normal car, and the immediate entrance to the property is beautifully paved. There were a few mosquitoes around, which is normal in a rural environment. Only one bedroom had a mosquito screen, and installing screens on more windows could make it easier to sleep with open windows at night and enjoy the refreshing hillside breeze even more. At first we were surprised by a large spider web in the bathroom. Later we realised that this seemed to be part of a natural ecosystem that includes spiders, geckos and other animals helping to keep insect numbers low without relying heavily on chemicals. Some guests may initially notice it, but we ended up appreciating this approach. There is a small playground in the lower garden. During our stay the grass had grown a bit long and the slide could probably benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Our children hardly used it, although this did not affect our holiday because there was so much else to do and discover throughout the property and the surrounding area. Overall, these are not really negatives from our perspective, everything was perfect.

La Quinta da fonte est un lieu merveilleux où j’ai passé un super séjour. C’est un endroit paisible, idéal pour se ressourcer . La piscine est magnifique avec une superbe vue, les bains de soleil sont très confortables et tout est pensé pour la détente. Un espace cuisine commune, situé à côté de la piscine, est également à disposition des voyageurs. Très bien équipé, il permet de préparer ou de partager un repas avec barbecue dans un cadre agréable, il y a également un terrain de pétanque. Mon logement était parfait : un lit très confortable, une cuisine équipée, une terrasse où manger tranquillement, Je n’ai manqué de rien. Les commerces se trouvent à la ville de Moncarapacho à 5 minutes à voiture , ce qui est très pratique pour faire les courses. Je tiens à remercier tout particulièrement Lucia, la propriétaire, pour sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et sa bienveillance. C’est une personne chaleureuse et très attentionnée. Un grand merci également à Helder, qui a lui aussi été aux petits soins pendant tout mon séjour. Elle n’habite pas sur place mais toujours disponibles. J’ai beaucoup apprécié la générosité de Lucia, qui m’a permis de profiter des délicieux fruits et légumes du jardin. Une attention qui rend ce lieu encore plus authentique et accueillant. Je repars ravie de mon séjour et de cette belle rencontre. Je recommande La Quinta sans la moindre hésitation à toutes les personnes qui recherchent un endroit calme, confortable et chaleureux typiquement Portugais, je reviendrai. Merci infiniment pour tout !

Romantyczna portugalska quinta z dużym basenem przyjaznym dzieciom i wygodną przestrzenią wspólną. Widok na morze. Mnóstwo typowych portugalskich elementów, azulejos, obszerne tarasy dachowe, stare meble. Bardzo serdecznia, pomocna właścicielka.

− Obiekt wymagałby modernizacji i zdecydowanie większej czystości. Słyszalny jest hałas pobliskiej drogi powiatowej.

Point de vu splendide depuis notre appartement et depuis la piscine. Lucia est une personne absolument adorable, accueillante et très disponible. L’emplacement permet de se sentir au calme tout en étant proche de tous les points d’intérêt de la région.
