Paid full amount but I was denied to check in late and a very rude lady and not accomodative to clie

− We had a reservation and my wife and I arrived within the times mentioned in the confirmation email. There was nobody to receive us at the lodge, the gate was locked, nobody picked up the phone for almost an hour and whatsapp messages were unanswered. If you want guests to arrive at a certain time, or know when they arrive, it would be nice if the staff is a little proactive and contacts the guests. It started to get dark and it started to rain, and also the town where it is located is a bit questionable. So we actually left. The person who finally called us back was very rude. Luckily we found a much nicer (and cheaper!) place to stay nearby which even had food.
