8.0Really lovely stay, the room was super lovely and comfortable and the location was great. The staff let us check out quite late, and very early on our day of arrival which was so appreciated. The room just got a bit hot and the balcony was also self contained and too hot to sit in, but would otherwise recommend!

8.0The decor in the cafe and in our room was lovely. Cosy lighting. Very comfortable bed, in fact, the most comfortable of any during our short Thailand travels. The shower was nice and hot. Received the code for the front gate and door with plenty of time before I checked in. The person in the cafe who issued the room key was friendly. Great location in terms of proximity to key locations. Nice walk down to the river, swing, and palace. There are plenty of little places to eat on the hotel road.
− The noise from the road was really loud, despite what appears to be double-glazed sliding doors. However, this may have been in light of Chinese New Year festivities (and the associative heavier traffic). Perhaps a bottle of water could have been nice; there was a glass water despenser downstairs, but it was unclear whether it was for hotel guest or solely cafe guests. There was no safe in the room, nor a fridge.

− Accessible by stairs only, cafe downstairs didn’t seem to be serving food anytime we tried to order. Can hear even bags rustling in the room next door, definitely not sound proof
Superb location and hideaway gem.
9.0Superb location. 10 minutes walk away from the tourist hotspot of Bangkok, so you can tick that box, but then engage in a far more welcoming and charming community.
− Cafe wasn't serving food unfortunately the next morning. The staff member there couldn't care less about us on check out in contrast to the fabulous communication and attention on check in and leading up to the stay.
