Avoid unless you really desperate for a cheap place to stay.
1.0Can't say much except it was cheaper and available for a long weekend in Penang when everything else were booked. The staff was helpful but there was a limit to what he can do.
− It really was a budget room above a shop. 3rd floor no lift. Above a mamak shop with the Champions League final the night we stayed over. Not pleasant. There was an attached bathroom as claimed but no toilet, which we desperately need. So you still have to go out for the toilet, which didn't flush. The staircase up and the inside had smoke smell as well as some musty smell as there is no ventilation. Checking in was the longest process I ever experienced, the only one I had which required a deposit (maybe they didn't trust their own guests) and a driver's license copy. Room was tiny but had two beds. At least relatively clean but bedding was cheap. We had thin pillows and bedsheets with the tiny fluff balls. Not comfortable and the traffic noise was like the windows were opened. The photos were tinted/etc to make look nice I guess. I don't mind being budget but be clear about it and don't pretend to be something you are not.

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that this property does not house an elevator. All rooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floors and are accessible via the staircase only.
The front desk operates from 12:00 to 22:00 daily. Please note that it is not possible to check-in after 22:00.
One child under 9 years can stay for free when sharing existing bed with parents.
