10.0The house is so beautiful. The gardens are magic and the waterfall is enchanting. You can see the the ocean through the trees from the patio.

− De bediening was kortaf (de meesten) en wij hebben de hele tijd geen warm water gehad. We hebben er een paar keer naar moeten vragen en daar werd gezegd dat ze het warme water aan zouden zetten. Wij hebben 2 uur gewacht en gevraagd maar helaas niks. Pas de volgende ochtend toen we het aankaartte zeiden ze dat überhaupt het warme water system niet deed. Dat was bijvoorbeeld fijn geweest als ze daar ons van op de hoogte hadden gebracht. Ik vond het personeel daarom erg passief en niet meedenkend of ons tegemoet gekomen hierin. Daarvoor vind ik de kamer wel vrij duur…

5.0Le cadre extérieur et l’emplacement sont magnifiques. La bâtisse possède un véritable charme historique et beaucoup de potentiel. Les jardins et l’environnement sont très beaux.
− Malheureusement, quasiment tout le reste. La propreté est très insuffisante et ne correspond absolument pas au standing que laissent espérer les photos et la beauté du domaine. Notre chambre était particulièrement décevante : fenêtres extrêmement sales, avec de nombreuses traces de saleté, toiles d’araignées et dépôts visibles. Il n’y avait pas de climatisation, ce qui nous obligeait à ouvrir les fenêtres, mais leur état de saleté rendait cela particulièrement désagréable. Les draps étaient vieux, usés et tachés. La chaise ainsi que les tapis présentaient également de nombreuses taches. L’accueil a été très froid et impersonnel : à notre arrivée, aucun véritable accueil ne nous a été réservé, la personne présente est simplement partie chercher une clé en arrière-cuisine. Nous avons également été extrêmement déçus par le restaurant. Nous connaissons très bien la cuisine thaïlandaise et le pad thaï servi, était très loin de ce que l’on peut attendre d’un établissement de ce niveau. Le plat donnait l’impression d’avoir pu être simplement réchauffé à partir d’un produit industriel ou surgelé. Après cette expérience, nous n’avons même pas souhaité prendre le petit-déjeuner sur place. Le problème n’est donc pas un simple détail ou une petite déception : c’est l’ensemble de l’expérience qui est très en dessous de ce que l’on pourrait attendre d’un lieu aussi exceptionnel. En résumé : Une bâtisse et un environnement magnifiques, mais un établissement aujourd’hui très décevant. Le lieu possède un potentiel exceptionnel, malheureusement totalement gâché par un manque évident d’entretien, de propreté, de qualité de service et de soin apporté à l’expérience client. En l’état, nous avons eu le sentiment de séjourner dans un lieu qui ressemble davantage à une demeure laissée à l’abandon qu’à un établissement hôtelier à la hauteur de son cadre. Une véritable occasion manquée.

9.0Beautiful setting. Extraordinary garden. It was nice to meet the interns from many places.
− Room needs a deep clean. There is dust on the trim at the bottom of the walls, dead moths etc. It would be a nice gesture for Billy or Penn to come out and greet us. We me Pamm and she was very nice.
