Herrliche Tage in Gotha
9.0Für uns Bahnreisende war die Lage der Pension optimal, da nur einige Minuten zu Fuss vom Bahnhof entfernt. Auch Schloss Friedenstein bzw. die Gothaer Altstadt ist fußläufig gut erreichbar (was vor allem bei starkem Regen, den wir leider an einem Tag hatten, nicht unwichtig ist ;-)). Das Haus selbst hat gewissermaßen "altehrwürdigen Charme" und es gibt nur Treppenaufgänge zu den Zimmern im 1. und 2. und zum Frühstücksraum im 2. Stock. Unser Zimmer samt Bad war dennnoch komfortabel und gut (u.a. mit einem Wasserkocher) ausgestattet und man konnte sich aus einem Etagen-Kühlschrank Wasser oder Bier zu moderaten Preisen nehmen. Was das Besondere an dieser Unterkunft ausmacht, ist jedoch vor allem die überaus charmante, hilfsbereite und allzeit um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemühte Dame des Hauses, die unseren Aufenthalt in Gotha unvergesslich machte! Das von ihr liebevoll servierte Frühstück ließ keinerlei Wünsche offen und war sowohl überreichlich als auch an Frische und Qualität nicht zu überbieten - weit besser als in jedem Hotel während unserer zweiwöchigen Deutschland-Reise! Es war uns eine wahre Freude, in diesem Haus zwei Tage perfekte Gastfreundschaft samt netter Gespräche genießen zu dürfen! Und Gotha und seine Sehenswürdigkeiten sind absolut eine Reise wert! Sollten wir wieder einmal in diese schöne Stadt reisen, werden wir gerne wieder in die Pension Café Suzette zurückkehren!

7.0Die Pension liegt nahe am Bahnhof. Fußläufig kommt man gut in die Stadt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, die Betten gut.
− In der näheren Umgebung gibt es nach unserer Beobachtung tagsüber keine freien Parkplätze. Wir hatten Glück und durften auf einem der beiden Parkplätze vor der Pension parken.

10.0absolute Empfehlung unsererseits für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Gotha, zentrale Lage mit Park- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Tolles Frühstück und sehr liebevolle Gastgeber.
− Leider 2 Einzelbetten, aber das war wohl mein Fehler. Wer lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil ...
