Ivan is an exceptional host. He welcomed us very warmly and we couldn't have had a better introduction to this lovely friendly village. The apartment had all the basics we needed to be able to settle down for a few days and do a little cooking for ourselves and enjoy this wonderful part of Sicily.

The owner was very helpfull with advices and even offered to drive us to the salt mine and to be our guide...for free. The location was perfect and quiet, very vast and cosy.

The location was great. The apartment is on the main street with an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Loved the balcony!! Our host Ivan was wonderful! He gave us a nice tour of the village and was always available to answer questions and give advice. It was always a pleasure to see him when we were walking around! There were plenty of drinks and food in the apartment for us to enjoy. We couldn't have asked for a better stay! We can't wait to return!

A wonderful host and apartment! Stay here if in Petralia Sottana!

Our host Ivan met us at the apartment and explained everything and gave us the keys. He even had a little gift for us, as well as lots of breakfast items, including bread, salami, cheese, juice, croissant, beer and wine! Most unexpected. The apartment over three levels was very clean and so well equipped. We had a problem with the shower and Ivan fixed this straight away with no problem. He even gave us a private tour of his salt mine museum which was wonderful! Breakfast was also provided at a local cafe. Ivan is a wonderful host and he could not have been more helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Location was perfect for exploring the mountains.
