A good very large apartment suitable for families, friends or someone who likes a lot of space

I rented this property for a week. I wanted somewhere bigger than your average apartment and this place certainly delivered, in fact it was a bit too big for just me but would really suit a family or several friends, etc. I didn't cook here in the end which I usually do but all the stuff is there for that. Cape Verde/Sal can be quite dusty and so the flat does get some dust if you leave the windows/curtains open but that's to be expected anywhere. The place was neat clean and tidy apart from that and the Internet worked well throughout my stay.

Great apartment & location in an authentic neighbourhood. Safe, easy walk to beach + cafes

We liked being on the side of town away from the big hotels / resorts in an authentic Cabo Verde neighbourhood, with many good restaurants with walking distance (and a convenient supplies store across the road)

− The barking street dogs at night meant we had to keep the doors and windows closed. It wasn't very hot in February so it wasn't a big problem, but light sleepers might struggle

My friend and myself stayed here for 26 nights, November to December, starting with the two double mattresses which is important to me, they were both excellent quality, everything else was just how we wanted and needed our stay to be. We loved the fact its in the locals neighbourhood and less than 5 mins walk to the nearest beach. Marco the owner was just fantastic to us, if we had any questions about anything about our stay here, Marco was available in person or by message, he lives on the ground floor of the premises.

− We didn't like having to leave and come home! For us it was perfect
