Living amongst the cardamom plantations. Ample amount of space, in + around. Amazing star-gazing spot. Rooms are spacious for bachelor parties/ friends gathering ONLY. Also, book only if you have 8-10 people going together, otherwise it's going to get pretty isolating. Good proximity to Anchuruli. Breakfast was nice too.

− Not suitable for family, especially with women in the family. The property itself is on the edge of civilization and emergencies are going to take a good 40 minutes to see the first shop/ medical help. There is just one house help who keeps roaming back and forth for all our needs (who also conveniently forgets/postpones our needs according to his commute plans). We went as a family of 5, and it was pretty dark and gritty when traveling back to the property at night. I'd really recommend to call them up and check if other homestays are available, and only book this if you have 8-10 people moving together- the house is pretty huge for less, and hence eerie. Also 2 storey house, with 1 bedroom on each floor? Really? House was functional at best- no geyser facility on 1st floor (the house help claims it went to repair just the day before), water is sparse and has very less pressure on all the taps/ showers (hell, i couldn't even clean myself up properly after taking a dump). Everything in the house is screaming mediocrity for this price. Also, we found kattapana a difficult location to commute from if you're planning to visit literally any part of idukki. Check for better stays I'd say!

Very helpful host and good food delivered

− This accommodation is not achieving the 'sustainability' claimed. Water was provided in multiple plastic bottles and all food was delivered in plastic bags + aluminium trays. There was no provision for recycling/compost or rubbish bin. A water filter is needed. Could tiffin boxes be use d to deliver food?

It is the location that makes this place so special. The house is spacious but a little shabby - we had a couple of broken lights and no hot water in the shower, but this didn't matter as the outside seating area was amazing. We sat listening to exotic bird song and elephants trumpeting in the distance, way off the beaten track. That was an unforgettable experience, thank you.
