What a place! Thorny Bush is everything you need for a relaxing break with your dog (reactive or not). From arrival to departure, this place is a little gem! Vicki greeted us warmly, despite us turning up early. Showed us our lodge, The Den, it was beautifully presented, exceptionally clean and a wonderful location! Vicki had even left bowls of water, a towel and treats for our dog too! She is a wealth of knowledge and had lots of recommendations for our stay. The beach at Wiseman's beach was exceptionally dog friendly. 'The Den' had everything we needed for our stay. Small and compact but cosy and lovely. Having dinner and drinks on the decking whilst our dog explored the enclosed garden was wonderful. The enclosed field was great, loved the in use/free sign to indicate if it was free or not. Listening to the chickens in the morning and enjoying the slightly cooler weather than at home was lovely. Upon departure, we purchased some of the freshly laid eggs, some very tasty tomatoes and cucumbers grown at Thorny Bush and some stunning jam made by Vicki's mum. Vicki and her mum both came to say goodbye and wished us a safe journey. We loved our stay here, so much so, we are looking at booking to come back next year but for longer!
