I recently stayed in this apartment in Gatineau and wanted to share my thoughts. What I liked: It’s located very close to a beautiful trail by the Gatineau River, which is perfect for scenic walks and fresh air.   The price was “reasonable”.

− There are too many rules, some of which felt overly strict and even contained discriminatory language. The living area is combined with the kitchen and feels quite gloomy—there’s hardly any natural light, and the artificial lighting is just not inviting. The bed is sunken in and isn’t very comfortable. The bathroom lacked even basic amenities like shower gel, which I find to be the minimum standard. There was a coffee machine, but no coffee provided. I had to go down to the gym area to grab some, which felt a bit inconvenient. I informed the property in advance that I needed to leave a day early due to an issue, hoping for a partial refund. They refused, which I understand to some extent—but given how isolated the apartment felt, it was still disappointing.
