We had a good time in Dumfries and our apartment was definitely part of that.
9.0Great central location and very well set up. A thoughtful owner.
− The eco setting on the shower means a very small amount of water, but I understand the reason.
Ok but rear access not suitable for two ladies in the dark

− The bedroom and living room were a little dismal although the bathroom was nice and bright. Access wasn’t easy to find but we were helped by a young man from the shop at the front of the building.

9.0I liked the amenities and that it wasn’t an induction stove so husband could also cook with simple buttons on the stove and oven. It had a bonus of a clothes dryer - hooray!
− If I had to pick something it was the 41 steps up to the 2nd floor with the cases when we arrived. I had no problem with it on the in and out. Parking is whoever is there first and can be difficult if you aren’t back early. We only had a car for 2 of our 4 day stay (car rental 10 min walk away) so no issues.

10.0The location is pretty close to a lot of Dumfries, including train and bus connections. The area's pretty quiet so it's easy to relax. The apartment is great and has lots of amenities like a washing machine. I didn't meet the owners but they're great at communicating and instructions for all appliances are very clear!
− The shower took some figuring out, but once I used Eco mode it worked great.
