10.0The location was perfect, with a lovely view of the Marina. It was a 2 minute walk from the promenade and also all the bars and restaurants were all located less than a 2 minute walk. The apparent suited our needs, it was spotless, secure and fitted with everything you could need. The bathrooms had some toiletries in case you needed anything. The host even listened to our previous request to make the twin bed room into another double room. So now it can be a twin or a double. He also arranged for us to stay late on departure day ( at no extra cost) as our flight was later at night.

10.0Communication with the owner, Alvaro, was very good. He quickly answered any messages. As he had no guests the day before we arrived and the day after, we were able to check in earlier and checkout later. The apartment was very clean. There were only four of us, but plenty of room for six. The kitchen was well equipped, and Alvaro will take on board a few suggestions that I made for some extra items. Markets, supermarket, and ferry terminal were all a short walk away. Lots of restaurants, bakers and pastelarias as well.
− The power cut out once when it was overloaded with the aircon, two hot plates and the kettle. We just turned some items off and turned the power back on in the fusebox near the entrance to the flat.

10.0Tremendous location near the waterfront, fish market and ferries. The spacious apartment is fully equipped for cooking and socializing, and the large balcony has views of the water. Self check-in was simple, underground parking was convenient and the hosts quickly respond to questions, and are informative, hepful and friendly. We will definitely return to this lovely home.

Olhao is worth a visit and this was a great location to stay.
8.0The unit is spacious and well maintained. The kitchen is equipped with everything one could want. Location was great! Close to restaurants and old town.
− The only real downside was that periodically we'd notice an unpleasant odor in both bathrooms, but at different times. It's like they took turns. As per Alvaro's suggestion, we did have the drain plug in the bathtub when not in use, but that didn't seem to help.

10.0Very large, comfortable apartment with a big balcony with nice view of the harbour. The apartment is very well equipped and very clean. The location is great, 5 minutes walk to the market with loads of restaurants on the doorstep. Nice and quiet at night. Lots to do in Olhao and surrounding area, we particularly liked Tavira.
