The location was excellent. The apartment was very nice and attractive. We were able to leave our bags in a nearby laundry room after checkout.

− The futons were very thin and even when sleeping on top of the extra blanket provided in the closet, my back still hurt while sleeping. There was no shower curtain and it was very hard to keep water from the shower off the nice, wood floors in the bathroom. This was similar to an AirB&B but there wasn't much information (wifi password, etc.). And the directions to find the place could have been a bit more detailed (it doesn't come up on Google maps). Fortunately, the host was pretty responsive and responded to emails quickly.

Location quite close to metro station. Relatively quiet but central enough

− low concrete beam and celing lights makes you walk hunched. Not for people over 1.70 m.

the property was not the one we had booked. we were informed of a broken water pipe about 3 days prior to our arrival. the owner asked us to stay in the property next door. he mentioned it was a similar property. unfortunately only in the layout but the condition the property was in was appalling.

− shower tiles covered in a thick layer of mould on the grout lines around the shower base. shower also had blocked drains and quickly filled up base within 2 minutes of showering. wires and metal rod protruding from concrete ceiling. shoji screens were tattered and broken. lack of privacy as kitchen windows had no curtains and had to be accessed via the bedroom.

- Awesome location right in the center of Harajuku, super close to shops, restaurants, bars and cafés - also just 10mins walking to Shibuya crossing and train station as well as Meiji park. - Very clean, quite spacy room for Tokyo (we were three persons) - friendly host who responded quickly.

− - There is no reception (which is ok), but it is limiting if you want to use luggage delivery service, as you have to be present yourself. - Ceiling height in the kitchen is really low (didn't cook, so we didn't care) - Water boiler didn't work the first day, but the host responded super fast and fixed it. Can be done yourself if it should happen, the boiler needed a restart and can be found outside the apartment door to the left.
