Comfortable 3-bedroom apartment stay

Amazing 3-bedroom apartment with 2 double beds and 1 single bed. There was a full-sized fridge, washing machine, a wet and dry kitchen, dining area, living room area and 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite with the master bedroom and 1 shared). There are 2 balconies overlooking the amazing view of the nearby man-made lake, a little playground, a swimming pool, a gym and a walking path around the area. It is a quiet, peaceful area, but still close enough driving-wise to places like Miri Times Square (7 mins), so it's easy enough to order a Grab or even ordering a Grab food delivery. Good value for money, an entire apartment cheaper than 2 rooms at the Marriot or Pullman.

− For check-in, no one met us on site. There is an RM100 deposit needed (Evernent doesn't accept cash, so be prepared to have TouchNGo installed, topped up with money and transfer via that - slightly annoying when you do not have a Malaysian bank card. So, prior to going to the property I had to top up my TouchNGo account by cash at a 7-eleven). I wasn't given any check-in instructions until I pay the deposit (which I thought was weird because I already paid for the stay in full through booking.com). They were more concerned about us following the rule of wearing proper swimwear (which was sent multiple times, along with the instructions pasted everywhere in the property). Any rule-breaking will result in a fine ranging from RM50-RM100. One sign instructed pool users to dry themselves up properly or they would be fined RM50 if they dripped water over common areas. This is an issue after using the pool, I wanted to change out of my swimsuit (to avoid dripping water over common areas), but there were no obvious changing rooms accessible next to the pool, so I ended up trying to dry my swimsuit as much as I could with a towel and then wrapping myself in a towel to try to catch the drips. Because my flip-flops were still slightly wet, we were trailing wet footsteps (nothing major, just like when you've been out in the rain and your shoes are a bit wet). But when we checked out, I received a message with a screenshot of us in the lift and a mention that we hadn't dried ourselves properly. As of today (only checked out yesterday), I am still waiting to see if management decides to fine us. I am ok to pay the fine, but I think it is unreasonable to do this when the facilty doesn't offer a changing room next to the pool for me to change out of my wet swimsuit. During check-out, no one came to check the property, just dropped the key, and I did get my RM100 deposit back later.

Semua saya suka. Memang sangat selesa tinggal disini. Menyesal duduk 1 malan saja. Memang best 👍🏼 lain kali lagi booking disini kalau pergi miri.
