A Comfortable Place to Stay Even if You're Sick While Away.

Access in and out of the apartment access is easy with the provided code. The bed in this unit was just as comfortable as others I'd slept in during other stays. This apartment was a bigger unit than ones I've been in previously, as it featured hide-a-bed sofa in the "living room" area for an additional person to sleep in. The additional armchair was very comfortable as well. With the exception of outside street noise more easily heard because the unit was on the second floor, the hallways inside were always nice and quiet at all times of the day, and the entire building is nicely air-conditioned also, to cool you off after an afternoon stroll in the June sunshine. All these apartments are nice and fresh when you arrive providing guests clean sheets, fresh towels, a sparkling clean bathroom and kitchen area. NOTE: I personally wash all my dishes (you can use the dishwasher if you prefer), put them away, and empty all my kitchen and bathroom trash before checking out, as a courtesy to housekeeping staff as well as future guests. I recommend you do likewise. The less housekeeping has to do to prepare the unit for the next guest, the quicker you can get into your room, although it's customary for most to check in after 4:00PM and checkout is 11:00AM. Management is usually quick and courteous to respond to comments and requests on the phone. Reaching them is easy with the provided number. The value for money offered by the Riverfront Travel Apartment facility is amazing. It's the best deal in Spokane by a mile. Where else are you going to get the value of having all the comforts of home? You get a full kitchen with range, microwave, full-size refrigerator, and all the cooking utensils and things you need. You have a large bath & shower. Two televisions and free cable. No one matches the number of amenities this facility offers guests.

− The loading/unloading parking space in front is almost always taken by someone using it for "free parking." The property management needs to post tow-away signs in multiple locations and then enforce it so paying guests can use that space to unload/load upon arrival and departure without having to park off to the side because someone decided to use the parking stall as their private free parking space. Inside the apartment itself various items weren't available. Guests were using the tea kettles to boil milk (can you believe that?), so management had to remove them. I had to ask for one to boil water for coffee I bring (they also provide Wolfgang Puck coffee free). I had to ask management for a spatula missing from the kitchen gadget drawer, and a pair of scissors normally in the butcher block with the knife set, as these items were missing from the room. Although I asked management for one on the phone, I ended up flagging down a housekeeper cleaning another room so I could obtain a cookie sheet to use with the oven, which was also missing from the room. The street noise in this second-floor unit is moderately loud in the mornings occasionally but still manageable. For whatever reason the microwave above the range was out of order so management had a second, smaller microwave sitting on the kitchen counter area to use instead. Unless you speak Spanish, you can't communicate easily with the housekeeping staff, as most of them don't understand English. That needs to change. Although friendly, they should be able to communicate with guests. Inconsiderate guests are the number one reason why the quality of this accommodation would shrink and the price to stay will rise. Using a tea kettle to boil milk? Stealing tumblers, flatware, as well as cooking gadgets and implements? C'mon, people! Show some professional courtesy and ethics! When you steal or damage things it causes the rates to rise in addition to normal inflation.
