Prachtige locatie pal aan het strand, met groot balkon

Het appartement ligt op een prachtige locatie, met een groot balkon. Pal aan het strand, dichterbij kan niet! Horeca (sluit vrij vroeg, dus geen overlast) en winkels om de hoek. Parkeren, in privé vak, op afgesloten parkeerterrein. Ontvangst heel vriendelijk en uitleg duidelijk. Als er iets was, werd dit z.s.m. opgelost. Het was fijn dat de bedden opgemaakt waren en alles was (op de ramen na) erg schoon. Het gebouw is absoluut niet gehorig.

− De slaapkamer aan de (dichte) galerij is erg benauwd doordat ventilatie niet mogelijk is. M'n reisgenote vond de matrassen te zacht, maar dit is natuurlijk ook persoonlijk. De stoelen op het balkon (o.a. houten bank), waren niet heel comfortabel en de kussens waren wat vies en dun. Sommige dingen waren wat gedateerd, maar alles prima te gebruiken. We kwamen aan tijdens een hittegolf, maar de parasol bleek kapot te zijn en de ventilator afwezig. Er werd wel z.s.m. gehandeld, dus de volgende dag was het opgelost. Het hele appartement is (nog?) een mix van oud en nieuw. We wisten dat er geen vaatwasser was, maar zou op zich een aanwinst zijn. Tijdens ons verblijf ging de lift kapot en dat bleef de laatste dagen zo. Voor ons was het geen probleem, maar kan lastig zijn voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn.

A nice stay though the bad weather and cold water

The flat is very nice and clean and has an amazing view. It includes all what you might need including a filter coffee machine. The landlady was very nice and helpful. There is a small supermarket nearby. You can get there fresh bread and orange juice. There is also the opportunity to take surf/sail courses against reasonable fees. There are some resturants around the flat including a pizzeria. The sandy beach and shallow water are perfect for children

− Some items in the flat were broken: a chair for instance. The small beds are slippery and not quite stable but they are ok though. Though the beach is sandy and nice, the water is really cold even in July/August and quite shallow to swimm. In addition, the weather is really unpredictable so we spent one day completely inside watching the heavy rain.
