Enjoyed the stay very much - would stay again
9.0The unit was located in a quiet residential street, with an easy walk to the beach where I swam daily. It is a lovely spacious one bedroom property with everything one could want - a full kitchen, loungeroom, dining, umbrellas (not needed this trip), and a spade for the Hot Water Beach! We sampled and enjoyed both the Cathedral Cove walk and boat trip, and the intriguing Hot Water Beach. Our unit was up one flight of stairs, and has a modern door code system - great for the beach trips and for two people. We had easy parking at the unit, and drove to the cafes and restaurants.
− The entry to the unit message could be updated to reflect the great new system, rather than the older locked box. Solved by an easy phone call, though

Lovely, spacious apt with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the ocean in the distance.

The quaint village of Hahei and the beach were walking distance away. A perfect weekend getaway and, for us, the perfect end to a busy month-long trip around New Zealand.

10.0We loved this property - a perfect place to spend the last two nights of our NZ road trip. Large, spacious, exceptionally well equipped with everthing you could need (and more). A very comfortable, new and modern 1st floor apartment with large balcony, lovely views and off road parking. Situated a short distance from the local village centre with its shops, eateries and pub. Very highly recommend Vacay Hahei.

8.0Lovely property with everything you could wish for. Great location and great views. Very comfortable bed! Easy access to Hahei which is a gem of a place.
Nice but has a significant ant problem.
5.0Great location! Good facilities and spacious accommodation.
− We had an ant problem in the kitchen which was reported to the owner and she was not concerned and it was not resolved. We had to throw away half of the food kept in a bag on the kitchen counter and were unable to cook the last 2 nights. We left one night early as they were also on the sofa.
